La Résidence, a place of production

La Résidence is a place of production, exchange and the transfer of knowledge. Its organisation is based on the Institutes of Advanced Studies to which it provides a complement in the Lyon-Saint Etienne metropolis. In effect, it is open to both researchers and technicians, providing an innovative addition to the ensemble of already existing reception centres reserved to foreign researchers.
 

Objectives:
La Résidence contributes directly to increasing the productivity of researchers by providing them with varying periods of “time” dedicated exclusively to research. This offer is also targeted at practitioners with the same aim in mind, namely to enable them to review knowledge acquired in a professional context by taking the time needed to formalise and critique their work in an objective manner.
